People Partner for Malta

✍️ Your daily tasks will be
The daily life will bring more challenges, but to summarise, these will be your core focus areas:
- Partnering with leaders in our Malta office or those managing teams in Malta to bring our People strategy to life—supporting teams through every stage of the employee lifecycle with tailored, impactful initiatives (from talent management, engagement to difficult conversations and more);
- Coaching and providing expert guidance to managers and employees, solving people-related challenges, and driving engagement across our Malta office;
- Managing relocations, from visas to local compliance, ensuring a smooth transition for our awesome international talent;
- Supporting everyday People operations like onboarding, career growth, and internal mobility;
- Be the go-to person for our employees in all people-related matters, providing support and guidance;
- Creating and managing employment documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local legal requirements;
- Developing, updating, and implementing local HR policies that align with both Maltese regulations and our global People strategy;
- Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements, conducting regular audits, and liaising with relevant authorities when needed;
- Using data to make smart, informed decisions that help our teams grow and succeed. You'll monitor key metrics like engagement scores, turnover rates, and performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement;
- Working closely with the global People & Workplace team to align Malta's People practices with our overall strategy while staying compliant with local labour laws;
- Leading initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, supporting events, workshops, and learning opportunities that help our people grow and feel connected.
✔️ What we're looking for
- Embody our core values—fun, fast, fair—driving the mission to make our company the top employer for both current and future talent;
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a People Partner or any other similar role in iGaming industry;
- Strong knowledge of Maltese labour laws and experience with relocation processes, including work permits and visa applications;
- Experience in supporting hybrid teams and working across multiple locations;
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities across locations while keeping a positive, can-do attitude;
- Skilled at building trust and strong relationships with managers and teams, providing sound advice and proactive support;
- Tech-savvy with HR systems (we use HiBob & Wemply) and confident in interpreting People data to provide insights and drive decisions;
- Proven ability to coach managers and team leads, influencing without direct authority and ensuring alignment with our people strategy;
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and implement solutions in a fast-moving environment.
