The User Researcher will play a pivotal role in understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations in the Japanese market. By conducting qualitative and quantitative research, you will provide actionable insights to inform product design and development. Youʼll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, product managers, and marketing, to enhance user satisfaction and engagement. 

✍️ Your daily tasks will be 

• Designing and conducting localized research to understand user behaviors, needs, and preferences in the Japanese market, employing methods such as usability testing, interviews, and surveys;
  
• Synthesizing findings into actionable insights and deliver them through reports and presentations to guide product teams in creating user-centered solutions;
  
• Collaborating with UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate research findings into the design and development process;
  
• Acting as an advocate for the unique cultural and behavioral nuances of the Japanese market;
  
• Ensuring our gambling and sports betting products resonate with local users;
  
• Contributing to improving research operations, staying informed of industry trends, and continuously enhancing methodologies.

✔️ What we expect from you

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and fluency in English (written and spoken).
  
• Proven experience (min 3 years) in user research, preferably within the gambling, crypto, fintech or related industries;
  
• Expertise in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work;
  
• Strong understanding of Japanese cultural, social, and behavioral trends;
  
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in a global, remote-friendly environment
  
• Experience presenting research findings to diverse stakeholders and influencing decision-making;
  
• Knowledge of research tools like UserTesting, Lyssna, User Interviews, and other similar tools;
  
• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams. Experience working with remote teams all over the world;
  
• Familiarity with cryptocurrencies and Web3 technology is a plus;
  
• Previous experience in iGaming is a plus.
