Front-End Developer (Hub88)
Our Hub88 Product Team is growing, and we are looking for new talent to join us on our journey!
The Front-end Developer is responsible for collaborating throughout the software development lifecycle, writing clean, scalable code, and identifying system inefficiencies. They provide technical insights, fix bugs, and maintain documentation. The role includes managing version control, conducting peer code reviews, and working closely with designers to implement responsive UI/UX. Additionally, the developer stays updated on industry trends and shares knowledge within the team to promote continuous improvement.
Your day-to-day
- Develop and implement user-facing features, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers and other stakeholders, to create visually appealing and responsive user interfaces for web applications
- Work closely with the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free applications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks and GraphQL
- Create comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of frontend components
- Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and usability challenges
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding guidelines
- Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance the development process
- Participate in the design and planning of new features and projects
- Ensure the security and data protection of applications
Your background and mindset
- Proven experience as a Front-end engineer or similar role (3+ years)
- An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with Redux or other state management libraries (MobX, XState etc.)
- Good knowledge of Unit and integration tests knowledge
- Knowledge of testing tools (Jest, Cypress, or similar)
- Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
- Experience working with REST APIs and GraphQL
- Ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
