Head of Product - Payments
Our Product Team is growing and we are looking for new talent to join us on our journey! 🚀
The role will report directly to the CPO. You will lead a domain and be accountable for the product success and delivering on the overall product strategy.
Head of Product - Payments will be responsible for user journeys that cover the payments experience, including the cashier, our payment gateway and various other payment related products.
You will work closely with our CPO to create a long term product strategy and execute across the product teams.

✍️ Your daily tasks will be
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's goals and market opportunities;
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and potential areas for innovation;
- Define and prioritise the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and resource availability;
- Lead the product teams in the development and execution of product plans, from concept to launch;
- Work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure products are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality;
- Implement best practices in product management, including agile methodologies, user-centred design, and data-driven decision-making;
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team;
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement;
- Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers;
- Champion a customer-centric approach across the product development process;
- Gather and analyse customer feedback, pain points, and usage data to inform product decisions;
- Ensure that customer needs and experiences are at the forefront of product strategy and design;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to stay informed of their needs and expectations;
- Lead efforts to deliver exceptional customer experiences through innovative product features and improvements;
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategy with business objectives;
- Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to gather feedback and ensure product alignment with market needs;
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to the broader organisation;
- Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate product success and inform future development;
- Use data and customer feedback to iterate on products and drive continuous improvement;
- Ensure products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
✔️ What we expect from you
- At least 3+ years of people management experience, with the ability to coach and grow a team to a high performing state;
- At least 4+ years of experience in a product management role (or close exposure to) with ability to deliver value across a complex portfolio of products;
- Ability to build and develop a strategy, get buy-in and execute;
- Deep familiarity with software development methodologies and organisational best practices;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail; well organised;
- Knowledge and experience with process & document management tools, such as Jira or Confluence;
- Proactive and independent thinker with proven ability to deliver from start to end;
- Exceptional Stakeholder Engagement and Communications skills;
- Good presentation skills with the ability to convey key messages to diverse and wide audiences;
- A team player - works with others across the organisation to get things done;
- Critical thinker: looking at the numbers, trends and data and come to new conclusions based on findings;
- Effective communicator: develops and delivers multi-mode communications to fulfil the needs of different audiences;
- Openly curious: Willing to question preconceptions and bring new ideas;
- Data driven, led by the appropriate use of data to get to insight and drive decision making;
- Customer centric: driven by seeking to understand customers better, their behaviours and the link to business drivers;
- Outcome focused: committed to principles of an outcome led operating model;
- Excellent written and verbal English.
